She is survived by a husband and three daughters. She was a daughter of the late Lyman Crane of south of Lyons and a sister of Lyman Crane Jr. Another Publication: The Portland Observer, December 15, 1932 Mrs. Horace Cooper, 59, of Danby, died in St. Lawrence hospital, Lansing, early Sunday morning following an operation performed the prior Tuesday for appendicitis. Funeral services were held at the home on the Danby-Sebewa townline Tuesday afternoon. Burial was made in Portland cemetery. Mrs. Cooper was the daughter of Lyman Crane, Sr., and was born in Portland township, having lived her entire lifetime in Ionia county and in the vicinity of Portland. Her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Baum, at home; Mrs. Gertrude Brokaw, Eagle, and Mrs. Mildred Bennett, Charlotte, survive. She also leaves five sisters and one brother: Mrs. Loren Wandell and Mrs. Frank Cooper, Lyons; Mrs. Margaret Samaine, Lansing; Mrs. George Baker, Orange; Mrs. Frank Erdman, Sebewa, and Lyman Crane, Jr., Lyons.
