Lowell Ledger, 7 Aug 1902

Salman W. Cooper, aged sixty-six years, died at his home in Lowell Friday night
after a short illness.  Funeral services were held at the home Monday conducted
by Rev. Charles Nease, and the remains were taken to Smyrna for burial.

Deceased was born in Canada but spent nearly all his life in Michigan.  He
leaves his wife, two daughters, Mrs. McCabe of Detroit, and Miss Jennie Cooper,
who lived with her parents, and two sisters, Mesdames Albert Greene and
Alexander Spague of Saranac.
