Ionia Standard, 4 Oct 1907

Wm. King Cooper died at 4 p.m. Thursday, after a long illness.  He was
identified prominently with the business interests of the city many years ago
and served in the war of the Rebellion.  He leaves a wife but no children.  Mrs.
I. H. Thayer and Mrs. Sarah Pierce of this city, and Mrs. Belding of Cincinnati
are sisters.  His age was 74.  Funeral from home, 625 LaFayette, at 2 p.m. Saturday

[Transcriber Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried
in Oak Hill Cemetery.]
