King Cooper died at 4 p.m. Thursday, after a long illness. He was identified prominently with the business interests of the city many years ago and served in the war of the Rebellion. He leaves a wife but no children. Mrs. I. H. Thayer and Mrs. Sarah Pierce of this city, and Mrs. Belding of Cincinnati are sisters. His age was 74.
