CARSON CITY - Sharon I. Cooper, 64, of Hubbardston, passed away Saturday, 
Sept. 29, 2007, at Carson City Hospital.

Sharon was born Oct. 14, 1942 in Ionia, the daughter of Harold and Marjory 
Owen Proctor.

She graduated from Carson City High School in 1960 and went on to obtain her 
Licensed Practical Nurse certification from Lansing Community College.  She 
worked in many different facilities since that time and found caring for 
people very fulfilling.  She married Gaylerd Cooper on Feb. 14, 2006, at their 
home in Hubbardston.  Sharon was known for her green thumb and enjoyed 
gardening and flowers.  She loved the outdoors and everying it had to offer, 
especially camping, canoeing, hunting and fishing. She always had a smile on 
her face and enjoyed socializing with family and friends.  Her cats and dogs 
were very important to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sharon is survived by her husband; a son; two daughters; six grandchildren; 
three brothers; a sister and many  nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. today at Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson 
City, with Pastor Jack Gladding officiatng.  Interment is in Palo Cemetery.
