Miss Lora B. Cooper, 83, formerly of Ionia, died Saturday, October 31, at the 
home of her sister, Dr. Gladys A. Cooper of Red Oak, Iowa following a brief 
illness.

She was born September 12, 1870 in Ionia and was the daughter of Samuel and 
Mary Cooper.  She had lived her entire lifetime in Ionia except for the two 
years she lived with her sister in Iowa.  Miss Cooper had lived at the family 
residence, 405 North Jefferson street.

Surviving is one sister, Dr. Gladys A. Cooper, Red Oak, Iowa, and several 
nieces and nephews.  Recently preceding her in death were two sisters and a 
brother, Miss Harriett L. Cooper, Mrs. Anna C. Taylor and Herbert Cooper.

Miss Cooper reposes at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home Monday.  Funeral 
services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. from the Stone-Kauffman funeral 
home.  The Rev. Fr. Roger J. Bunday will officiate.  Interment will be in 
Highland Park cemetery.
