Findley Country Manor in St. Johns. She was born to Maurice and Helen (Holbrook) DePue on Oct. 11, 1943, in Ionia County. She married Stanley Cooper on Feb. 8, 1962, in Ionia. Kathleen loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and sports, especially wrestling. In later years she was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan. She is survived by her husband, Stanley; daughter, Brenda (Dale) Wolfert of St. Johns; two sons, Lloyd Cooper of Greenville, Jack Cooper of Carson City; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; five sisters, Jean Schafer of Hubbardston, Dorothy Fisher of Carson City, Shirley (Dick) Rinckey of Hubbardston, Carol (Ron) Stevens of Sydney, Delores (Ron) Corwin of Sydney; brother, Frank (Judy) DePue of Greenville; sister-in-law, Rose DePue of Sheridan; and brother-in-law, Steve Schrauben of Hubbardston. She was preceded in death by one sister, Jenny Schrauben; three brothers, Edward, David and Dean DePue; and one brother-in-law, Paul Schafer. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lux & Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
