George Elvin Cooper, 76, of Saranac passed away April 8, 2013 in Ionia. He was 
born Oct. 10, 1936 in Grand Rapids, the son of Clyde and Elsie (Sheldon) 
Cooper. He worked for Hardy Farms for many years.

George is survived by his brothers, Orville Cooper of Belding and Ervin (Eula) 
Cooper of Brown City; sisters, Geraldine Judeika of Grand Rapids, Margaret 
Antcliff of Belding and Ruth (Ruben) Kaptain of Hudsonville; special friends, 
Dave and Judy Hill of Saranac and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 15 at Saranac Community 
Church with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. 
Sunday at the Lake Funeral Home of Saranac. Interment, Spencer Mills Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in George’s name to Alzheimer’s Foundation.
