Mr. Cooper had been in poor health for 10 years. He celebrated his eighty-second birthday anniversary last September. For many years he was in the employ of the Pere Marquette railroad shops. Had Mr. Cooper lived until November 8 he would have survived his wife by only six months. Mrs. Cooper’s death occurred May 8. He is survived by five children, Herbert Cooper, Miss Lora Cooper, and Miss Harriet Cooper, all of Ionia, and Mrs. R.L. Taylor, of Adrian, and to Dr. Gladys Cooper, of Red Oak, Ia. No funeral arrangements have been made as yet, but friends have been asked to omit flowers.
