Evelyn Mae Cooper, age 87 of Ionia, passed away with her family at her side 
Sunday, March 4, 2012.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Free. She is survived by her 
husband, Clyde; children, Carol Lundquist, John (Sherry) Free, Larry (Veronica) 
Cooper, Linda (Don) Cooper, Marcia (Jack) VanDrie, Carol Telfor, Ron (Sue) 
Cooper, Nancy (Dewey) Badder, Cathy (Steve) Lowery; sisters, Alice Wheat, Doris 
Carlson, Mary Lou (Art) Botma, Virginia (Jerry) Roberts; sister-in-law, Marion 
Wheat; bother-in-law, William Cook; many grand, great-, and great-great-
grandchildren.

Evelyn was a life member of the Lowell Garden Club and the Lowell Women's Club.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. 
Hudson, Lowell. Pastor Ken Ford of Alton Bible Church officiating. Visitation 
will be Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lowell 
Garden Club.
