Wreatha was born on March 20, 1935 to John and Mary (Collins) Waldren of Lake Odessa. She graduated from Lake Odessa Schools. Wreatha married Jack Cooper on September 10, 1955. They lived in Lake Odessa for a short time before moving to Ionia where they raised four children. Wreatha had worked in the Lyons-Ionia area. She enjoyed her flowers, cooking and had a great sense of humor. She considered her family her greatest achievement and blessing. She is survived by Jack, her husband of 50 years; children, Cindy Ockert, James Cooper, Scott Cooper, and Lori (Salome) Velasquez, all of Ionia; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, with three on the way; sisters, Vada Bailey of Plainwell, Ellen Miller of Lowell, Leona Bussema of Lake Odessa; brother, Douglas Waldren of Lansing; and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lyle; and sisters, Vivian, Lillian and Margaret Lee.
