          DENNIS LEE COOPER
   Dennis Lee Cooper 60 of Ionia passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at Carson City
Hospital.
   He was born on Nov. 2, 1956 in Ionia, the son of Calvin and Charlotte (Rodgers)
Cooper and they both preceded him in death.
   Dennis attended Sarancac Public Schools, enjoyed fishing, camping and riding
motorcycle.  In earlier years, he had worked as a concrete finisher.  Dennis was also 
a big U of M fan.  He will be greatly missed by his family friends.
   Dennis is survived by his sons, Dennis Cooper, Jr. of Saranac, Devin (Erin)
Cooper of Clarksville, TN, Darren Cooper of Stanton; grandchildren, Skyler, Jadalynn 
Jaxon, Tayler; his brothers and sisters, Calvin Cooper Jr. of TN, Cherly Cooper, Willie 
Cooper, Earl Cooper, Joyce (Greg) Dean all of Ionia; and close friends; Rochelle 
Mason, Brian Russell, Doug and Steve.
   A celebration of life luncheon is being held on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the
Sheridan VFW Post (lower level) from 12 to 3 p.m..   Immediately following the luncheon, 
everyone is invited to join the family in a celebration of life motorcycle ride in honor 
of Dennis, with kickstand up at 3 p.m..  Line up will be in the Simpson Family Funeral 
Home parking lot, which is directly in front of the Sheridan VFW.
   For those wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Dennis, you're asked
to keep the needs of the 
family in mind as they deal with this loss.
