                             MAXINE E.COOPER

IONIA-Maxine E.Cooper, 63, a lifelong resident of South Ionia, died July 4 at 
the Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 26, 1925 in South Ionia, the daughter of Clarence and Ida Mae 
(Orth) DeHart.

She married Clyde S>Cooper Jr. on Dec. 24, 1942 in Ionia. Together they owned 
and operated the Cooper and Son Plumbing and Heating Company in Ionia.

Surviving are her husband, Clyde; two sons, Larry E.Cooper and Ronald Cooper, 
both of Ionia; five daughters, Linda Cooper Paulson of Hubbardston, Marcia 
VanDrie of Ionia, Carol Telfor of Geneva, Alabama, Nancy Badder and Cathy 
Lowery, both of Ionia; 14 grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on July 
9 at the Cooper residence, 245 W.Riverside drive, Ionia, with the Rev. Tim 
Gillette of the First Baptist Church of Ionia officiating.

Burial will be in Tuttle Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ionia Area Hospice in lieu of flowers.
