                                 Jack Cooper

Jack Howard Cooper, 76, of Eagle, passed away June 11, 2008 in Eaton Twp., Eaton 
County.

He was born May 14, 1932 in Grand Ledge. Jack retired from General Motors after 
34 years of service, belonged to the General Motors Retirees Club and served in 
the Michigan National Guard. He was very active in his church and was a Boy 
Scout Leader for many years, volunteered at the Ingham Regional Medical Center 
for 20 years, and was active in the Gideon's International (Ionia Branch).

He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Betty and brother Thomas 
Cooper.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa R.(Les) Weismiller of Holt; son, Jack H.
(Kris) Cooper of Tucson, Ariz.; grandchildren, Ruth L.Weismiller, Bradley 
T.Cooper and Andrew J.Cooper; sister-in-law, Mrs.Clara Perritt of Nashville, 
Tenn.;and Melba Cooepr of Grand Ledge.

The funeral service was held June 14 at the Portland Church of the Nazarene, 
with Pastor Daniel L.Stemen and Pastor Roy Atherton officiating.
