Ionia Shopper's Guide - Sat. January 25, 2025

              COOPER

Calvin Eugene Cooper, age 71 of Portland passed away January 19, 2025. He was 
born July 30 1953 in Ionia the son of Calvin Coolidge & Charlotte 
(Rogers)Cooper.

Calvin enjoyed hunting in his younger years and he loved Chicago Cub's baseball 
and was a University of Michigan fan.He loved drinking beer and golfing. 

Calvin is survived by his children, Tim Cooper of Portland, Calvin & 
(Marsha)Cooper Jr. of Knoxville, Tennessee, Jennifer (Alton) Mick of Lowell & 
Megan(Josh) Grubaugh of Portland, Grandchildren, Madison Cooper, Mackenize 
Cooper, Benjamin Maynard, Samatha Mutschler, Quentin Cooper, Calvin Cooper III, 
Addilyn Grubaugh & Ethan Patton. Brother, Earl Cooper of Ionia. Sisters, Joyce 
Dean of Ionia & Cheryl Cooper of Ionia. Several nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents & brothers, Dennis Cooper & Willy Cooper.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday,January 25th at the Boston township 
Hall in Saranac from 1:00 pm-4:00pm. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home
