The Ionia Standard, Thursday, April 22, 1880
Died – on Monday Evening, April 21st, Mrs. Ashley Cooper of Ronald Township.  
This esteemed lady had lived in Ionia county 44 years and was 65 years of 
age.  Her funeral will occur in the Ronald Literary Hall on Friday morning at 
10 o’clock.
