Ionia Daily Standard, 20 & 25 1907

Harry Stewart Cooper, age 34, died last evening, at the home of his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Samuel Cooper.  He leaves a wife and two children.  He was an engineer
by trade.  He had been sick all summer.  His brother Herbert and sister Gladys
have been on a trip to Europe, and are expected to reach New York tomorrow. 
Time of funeral will not be fixed until they are heard from.

The funeral for Harry Cooper was attended Tuesday afternoon from the residence
of parents on North Jackson street.  The P.M. machinists attended in a body as
did the Oddfellows.  There were many floral offerings, including a handsome
piece from the machinists.  There was a large attendance of friends present. 
The service was by Rev. E.E. Branch, assisted by D.A. Jewell.  There was no
singing.  The pall-bearers were from the family.
