Earl Hamilton Cope, 38, died Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Ionia Community 
hospital, following a week’s illness.  He lived in Barry county until lately 
and then he moved to Ionia where he lived with his brother and father, who 
live on Adams street.  Surviving are the brother, Franklin Cope, and the 
father, Frank Cope, both of Ionia.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday 
afternoon at 1 p.m. from the Myers funeral home.  Rev. George Woolcock will 
officiate and interment will be held at the Middleville cemetery.
