Ionia Standard, 4 Sep 1908

Thos. Copeland for 40 years an esteemed resident of this city, died Tues. night
at age of 76.  He leaves a wife and one son, Fred of Chicago, who arrived Wed.
morning.  Funeral from the home on Forest street, at 2 p.m. Thursday.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.]
