Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 16 Feb 1954

George Anthony Coppess, one day old infant son of Mr. and Mrs. George Coppess,
died in Pennock Hospital, Hastings, Friday, February 12.  

He is survived by his parents, three brothers, Jerry, Kendall and David, and one
sister Kathleen, all at home.  The grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Sherwood?
of Ionia and Mrs. Mae Coppess of R.F.D. Lake Odessa, and several aunts and
uncles also survive.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 4 p.m. from the Mapes funeral home. 
Services were conducted by the Rev. Harold Clerry of the Sunfield United
Brethren church.  Burial was in Sunfield cemetery.
