The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, September 9, 1938
Funeral service for George H. Corbin, 87, who died in Muir September 7 were 
held at the Shaw funeral chapel Friday afternoon with the Rev. Paul Stewart 
officiating.  Interment was in the North Plains cemetery.  Mr. Corbin, who was 
born in Muir, returned to Muir two years ago from Grand Rapids where he was in 
the real estate business.  He is survived by two sons, Russell and Raymond of 
Detroit and a daughter, Mrs. Fannie Stewart of Colorado.
