William Allen Corn, 79, passed away on January 18, 2009.  He was born October 
22, 1929 in Winslow, IN. the son of Herbert and Arah (Woodford) Corn. 

William was a avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed racing go-carts and stock cars.  He 
also enjoyed toy trains and airplanes.  He volunteered at the V.F.W. Post 
#4090 during their fish frys, breakfasts and other dinners. 

William is preceded in death by his sister Shirley Stimack and a son Michael 
Allen Corn. Surviving are his wife JoAnn; daughter Debbie (Mike) Fata; 
daughter-in-law Beth Corn; grandson Michael Allen Corn III; sister Mary Jo 
(Gary) Schlarf; brother Terry (Connie) Corn; sister-in-laws Sue Taylor and 
Yvonne Simmons; brother-in-laws Robert Simmons, Jerry (Barb) Simmons, and 
Terry Simmons; special kids "the Dorskys"; many nieces and nephews. 

The Funeral Service was conducted on Jan. 21 by Pastor Daniel L. Stemen at the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.  Interment followed at Portland 
Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the 
funeral home.
