Ionia Sentinel, 31 Oct 1955

Word was received Sunday by Mrs. Herbert Hall of the death of Arthur Gates 
Cornell at Lansing Sunday morning.  Mr. Cornell was the son of Lucien and 
Frances Gates Cornell who formerly lived on West Main street.

Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. B. L. Barry and Mrs. M. D. Van Auken of 
Lansing and Mrs. William Laurie of Detroit.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the Estes-Leadley 
funeral home in Lansing and burial will be at the Cornell lot at Oak Hill 
cemetery in Ionia at 12 o’clock.
