The Ionia Daily Standard, Thursday, October 8, 1903

The remains of Edwin C. Cornell arrived here by train this morning, 
accompanied by his brother, Bert.  They were met here by a number of friends 
and taken to the family lot in Highland Park, where burial services were 
conducted by Rev. W. B. Taylor.  Deceased was 50 years old, and had been 
living on the farm in Ontonagon county twelve years.
