The Ionia Standard, Friday, February 24, 1882

We are pained to chronicle this week the death of Warren Cornell of Palo, 
which occurred Wednesday morning at 1:15.  Mr. Cornell was the son of Rev. A. 
Cornell, for many years pastor of the Baptist church in this city, and was 
well and favorably known throughout Ionia county.  The funeral services took 
place in Palo yesterday, but his remains were brought to this city for 
interment.
