Rev. Albert Cornell, one of the first pioneers of Ionia county, died at his 
home in Ionia December 25, of old age.  He went to Ionia with his father’s 
family in 1833, and for nearly 50 years he has preached to the Baptists in 
that place and vicinity, and has occasionally preached here.
