Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. December 19, 1974

Services Held for Annie D. Corston

Mrs. Annie D. Corston, 74, of route 2, Tupper Lake, Lake Odessa, passed away 
Friday morning at Pennock Hospital, Hastings where she was hospitalized for ten 
days.

She was born in London, England, April 4,, 1900, the daughter of William and 
Hannah (Barnell) Dowling and came to the United States in 1919. She married 
Lloyd C.Corston at toledo, Ohio, March 5, 1928, and they resided at St.Clair 
Shores all their married life until moving to Lake Odessa in 1971.

Surviving besides her husband is a daughter, mrs.Patricia Taylor of Concord, 
Calif., two sons, Lloyd O. of Lake Odessa, owner and editor of the Lake Odessa 
Wave, and Arthur J. of San Rafael, Calif., and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the Picken-Koops Funeral 
Chapel, Lake Odessa. Rev. William Hertel officiated with burial in the Lakeside 
cemetery.

Contributions for the Lynn Allison Corston Memorial fund at Chico, California 
may be left at the chapel.
