BUSINESSMAN DIES William B. Cortright, 86, of 313 North Phillis, Nashville, died at his home at 7:30 p.m. Friday after an illness of several months. He was born Sept. 6, 1862, in Charlotte, the son of Horace and Rachel (Kirchenal) Cortright. He had been a resident of Nashville for 45 years. Surviving are his wife, Minnie, to whom he was married Sept. 30, 1903, in Lake Odessa, and one son, Lyle of Springfield, Ill. Mr Cortright was an implement dealer in Lake Odessa at one time and later opened a dry goods store in Nashville, operating it until 1924 when he retired. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Hess Funeral Home in Nashville under the auspices of the Masonic Order, the Rev.Howard McDonald of the Nashville Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Lakeside cemetery Lake Odessa. Mrs. Cortright is the former Minnie Darby.
