The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 16, 1966
Mrs. Minnie Cortright, 94, a former resident of Nashville, died Thursday 
afternoon at Clark Memorial home in Grand Rapids where she had been a resident 
the past four years. Mrs. Cortright was born February 19, 1872 in Ionia county 
and was the daughter of Oscar and Sarah Powley Darby.

Mrs. Cortright and her husband W. B. Cortright operated a dry goods store for 
30 years in Nashville.  Her husband preceded her in death 17 years ago but she 
remained in Nashville until four years ago.

Surviving are a son, Lyle Cortright of Springfield, Ill.; three brothers, 
Homer Darby of Flint, Roy Darby of Jackson and Charles Darby of Woodland.

Funeral and committal services will be at the Pickens funeral chapel in Lake 
Odessa Sunday at 4 p.m.  Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
