RESIDENT DIES Mrs. Cora B. Lipscomb Corum, owner of practically the last regularly operated park train in the mountains of California, died Saturday, Feb. 12, at the home of her daughter in Sierra Madre, Cal. She was 76 years old. Mrs.Corum, a member of the Democratic county committee, settled in California with her husband, the late "Bill" Corum, 32 years ago. They bought the mules, burrows, horses and stables and supply store at the end of Sturtevant trail in Big Santa Anita Canyon and operated the pack trains into the back Country, carrying building and other supplies and mail to the many camps and hundreds of cabins along the trail past Roberts Camp, Fern Lodge and Sturtevant Camp. Mrs. Corum, who spent three months here last summer, formerly was Cora Lipscomb and lived here about 40 years ago, her father being sexton of the cemetery at that time. Mrs.Belle Klingman, Mrs.Ira Curtis and Mrs. Ed Demaray are cousins of Mrs.Corum.
