Norma J. Coryell, aged 69, of Ionia, passed away Sept. 10, 2007.  She was born 
Oct. 30, 1937 in Hubbardston, the daughter of Norman and Irene (Riley) 
Handlon. Norma married Ken Coryell Sept. 30, 1966 in Ionia. She spent many 
years working with her husband at Coryell Trucking as a secretary and 
bookkeeper. Norma was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the 
Grand Valley Snowmobile Club.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Ken Coryell of Ionia; 
children Debra and Fred Lauck of Ohio, Dan Bussell and Sandi Pearce of Ionia, 
Dave Bussell and Lisa Hernandez of Ionia; stepchildren Kay and Jeff Baker of 
Ionia, Kelly and Jim Law of Arizona, Kym Coryell and Willy Farrel of Ionia; 
brothers, Brian and Colleen Vance of Alaska, Greg and Robin Vance of 
Hubbardston; sisters Judy and Bill Beyer of Ionia, Sharon and Tom Patterson of 
Florida, and Amy Vance of Grand Ledge; brother-in-law Bud Montgomery of Ionia 
and 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Norma is preceded in death by 
her parents and 2 sisters Margaret Lafler and Alice Montgomery.

A mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday at SS Peter & Paul 
Catholic Church in Ionia with Father Melvin Fox celebrant. Internment at 
Tuttle Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday 2 to 4 
and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. A scripture service will 
be held Thursday, 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers you may make 
memorial contributions to the Ionia Area Hospice or the Van Andel Institute 
Cancer Research Center. Funeral arrangements by Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.
