Excerpts from Saranac Obituary

SHERMAN D. COSART
Died September 15, 2021-age 99 in Port Charlotte, Florida
Born March 15, 1922-the son of Leonard & Blanche Cosart.
Joined the Navy serving during WW II as an Ensign.
Married Ardith J.Kyser June 18, 1949 in Detroit, together raised two children.
Worked as a truck driver, hauling Vehicles and Freight.
Survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Ardith J. Cosart of Florida, Daughter 
DeLynn (John) Kerr of Troy; grand-children; Kynda (Patrick) Myers of Davisburg & 
John (Mary) Kerr of Troy; great-grandsons Landen & Dalton Myers; sister Phyllis 
McKenzie of Arizona; half-brothers Don Ard of Texas & Terry Ard of Illinois; 
half-sister Joann of Illinois. Several nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents and son Dale K. Cosart.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in Saranac with Pastor Becky Poor 
Officiating. 
Interment Saranac Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Tidewell Hospice.
