The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, December 6, 1995
Laura M. Cote, 91, of Saranac, died Monday, December 4, 1995 at the Adams 
Adult Foster Care in Lowell.  She was born December 4, 1904 in Oklahoma, the 
daughter of Thomas and Stella (Woodson) Hurst.  She was a member of the Ionia 
Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Surviving are two daughters: Barbara (Kenneth) Exton, of Kent City and Valerie 
(Jack) Briggs, of Lowell; and grandchildren: Michelle Hawthorne, Sherri 
Leonard, Laura Adams, Deborah Probst, Kathy Exton, Steven Adams and Kenny 
Exton.  She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Seventh Day 
Adventist Church in Ionia with Pastor James Micheff officiating.  Visitation 
was held on Tuesday night at Cook Funeral home in Ionia.  Memorial 
contributions may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church Memorial Fund.
