Kent Cotton Buried Here On Tuesday

Ralph Kent Cotton, 59, passed away Sunday at the Veteran’s Hospital in Dearborn 
where he had been a patient.  Rev. Hollis Tiffany officiated at funeral 
services held Tuesday afternoon at Neller Funeral Home.

Survivors are the wife, Beatrice; son, Ralph Cotton, of Portland; four 
grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Herbert Jameson, of Portland and Mrs. Fred Hegle, 
of Lansing.

Burial was in Portland cemetery.  Bearers were Harry Owen, Frank Day, James 
Iiams, Frank Fandel, Clarence Barnes and William Harris.  The bearers are all 
members of Dale E. Hyland Post, American Legion, of which Mr. Cotton was a 
member.  Local business places were closed Tuesday afternoon during time of 
funeral.
