Percy J. Cotton, 64, of rural Hubbardston died Thursday at his home.  He was 
born at Pawpaw April 9, 1910, and came to Ionia county in 1935.  He was a 
retired employee from Gibsons at Belding.

Surviving are his wife, Geraldine; five daughters, Mrs. Martha Krause of 
Reseda, Calif., Mrs. Tina Francis of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Carolyn White of 
Cleveland, N.Y., Mrs. Virginia Erskin of Central Square, N.Y., and Mrs. Marie 
Sanson of Syracuse, N.Y.; four sons, Elwyne of Ionia, Orvall of Detroit, Paul 
Erskin of St. Louis, and Fred Davis of Garland, Texas; 19 grandchildren and a 
brother, Thomas Ampey of Kalamazoo.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Burns-Schnepp funeral home at 
Carson City.  Rev. James Baney will officiate and interment will be at East 
Plains Cemetery.
