Lake Odessa Wave - June 25, 1970
            SERVICES HELD FOR WALKER COTTON
    Walker Cotton, 81, of Brown Road, Lake Odessa passed away Friday afternoon at
Pennock Hospital 
following a long illness and was hospitalized three days.
   He was born at Woodland, March 29, 1889, son of Boston and Rosa George Cotton and
had lived most of 
his life in the Woodland area.  He married Beatrice Stratton of Grand Rapids Oct. 6,
1916.  Mr. Cotton was a 
member of the United Brethren Church at Woodbury.
   Surviving are his wife and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Fisher and Mrs. Effie Lehman,
both of Woodland.
   Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel.  Rev.
Edgar Perkins and Rev. 
Benjamin Davis officiated, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
