Excerpts from Grand Rapids Press Obituary

BURR J. COTTON of Sparta

Died Thursday December 5, 1968-age 84 at the home of his daughter & son-in-law, 
Mrs. Carl (Marie) Pope of 12309 Long Lake Drive.
Also survived by two sons, Richard of Sparta,& Harold of Grant, two other 
daughters,Mrs. Thomas (Alleen) Bloodgood and Mrs.Wendell (Wilma) Baker, both of 
Grand Rapids; 17 grandchildren; one great-great-grand child; one brother Walker 
Cotton; two sisters, Mrs.Effie Lehman, & Mrs.Ruth Fisher, all of Woodland.
Funeral services will be held Monday 1 p.m. at the Hessel-Cheslek Funeral Home, 
with Rev. henry Hoekstra officiating.
Interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.
Friends may call at the Chapel.
