Cotton, from the home at 706 West Main street. Dean Jackson of St. Mark’s cathedral, Grand Rapids will officiate. Burial will be in the Saranac cemetery. Mrs. Cotton who before her marriage was Ida E. Jenks, died Tuesday at her home following an illness of a week. The daughter of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Jenks, of Saranac, she was born in Arizona but lived the greater part of her life in Saranac and Ionia. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal church, the Mothers’ Guild of the church and of the Security Benefit association. She leaves her husband, Ira L. Cotton; two daughters, Mrs. John H. Seabrook, Mrs. John J. Walsh, both of Grand Rapids; and a brother, Frank J. Jenks, of Marquette. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Mrs. John Cotton Seabrook, Grand Rapids, Mrs. Albert Hopkins, 3rd, of Columbus, O.; a niece, Mrs. Arthur J. Wiggins, Chicago, and two nephews, Ward Jenks, Owosso, and John W. McMahill, Jr., Chicago.
