Sentinel-Standard - Friday, April 29, 1973

Floyd V. Cottrell, 63, of 319 West Liberty, Belding, died Thursday at Pennock 
hospital, Hastings.

Born February 6, 1910, at Belding, he was the son of Clarence and Anna 
Cottrell. February 26, 1932, he was married in Orleans to Alice E. Doty. 

He was an attendant at Ionia State hospital and member of Belding lodge, F&A.M. 

Surviving besides the wife, Alice, are a daughter, Mrs. Caroline Beckett of 
Okemos; two sons, Lawrence of Muskegon and Kenneth of Midland; ten 
grandchildren; parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Clarence Cottrell; two sisters, Mrs. 
Mildred Wright of Belding, Mrs. Marion Barry of Auburn, Ky.; two brothers, 
Leslie Cottrell of Ionia and Clifford of Spring Lake. 

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 pm at Huffman funeral home in 
Belding. Rev. Roger Wright will officiate assisted by Belding lodge F&AM. 
Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
