Belding Banner-News - Thursday June 22, 1961

                       Once Local Lady Dies at Fruitport.

Mrs.Clifford Cottrell 49, of Fruitport, died Friday, June 9, at Municipal 
Hospital. She had been ill two years and entered the hospital May 29.

Formerly Inez Wheeler, Mrs.Cottrell was born in tis city January 30, 1912. She 
was a graduate of Belding High School and a member of Belding Church of God.She 
married Mr.Cottrell in 1939 and the family moved to Fruitport in 1942.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Dorothy of Grand haven and Mrs.Richard 
Brooks of grand Haven Township and three sons, William, Robert and Russell at 
home, her father, Leon Wheeler of this city and one brother, Fred of Muir; one 
sister, Mrs.Elma VanConant of this city and three grandchildren.

The funeral was Monday June 12 at Kinkemas FuneralHome in grand Haven with 
Rev.Fred Pinzing of Robinson township officiating and the burial was in Lake 
Forest cemetery, Grand Haven.
