Ionia Sentinel Standard, 18 Oct 1984

Funeral services for John Cottrell, 90, who died Monday morning were held
Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. from the Roetman funeral Home, with the Rev. John
Sorensen of Ionia First United Methodist Church officiating.  Organist was
Renate Conrad.

Pallbearers were members of the Ionia Masonic Lodge: Allen Green, Wallace
Perrien, Keith Inglehart, Norman Ketner, Karl Peterson and Sid Wiseman.  Burial
was in Saranac Cemetery.

Following graveside services lunch was served to family and friends at the VFW
Hall in Saranac.
