Coulson, 58 of 234 East Lincoln Avenue died at the Ionia Rest Home Saturday, March 28 at 4:15 pm. She had been a patient there since March 6 and seriously ill for 1 ½ years. She was born in Ionia Oct. 31, 1894, daughter of Henry and Caroline Miller. She married Fred Coulson of Berlin Township Oct. 20, 1919. They lived on a Berlin township farm for 38 years, moving to Ionia in 1942. Mrs. Coulson was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran church where funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Eric Cash. Interment will be in Balcom cemetery. The body will be at the Boynton funeral home until time of service. Surviving are two sons, Lewis and Lavern of Ionia; two daughters Mrs. Alvin Edmonds of Belding and Velma at home; six grandchildren; four brothers, Henry, George and Ewald Miller of Ionia and Edward Miller of Waukesha, Wis.; and a sister Mrs. Katherine Rutz of Magnolia, Ark. Two children; Robert and Lawrence preceded her in death.
