Mrs. Teresa M. Coulson, 83, of 734 West Peck Lake Road, died Saturday evening 
at Ionia County Memorial Hospital.  She was born April 29, 1895, in Berlin 
Township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Zanto.  She was married November 
26, 1929 to J. Hugh Coulson who preceded her in death in 1968.  They lived all 
their married life on Peck Lake Road.

Mrs. Coulson was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and was a 
former practical nurse.

She is survived by one son, Robert, Saranac; one daughter, Mary Lou Coulson, 
at home; five brothers, Leo, Leonard, and Glenn Zanto of Portland, Paul Zanto 
of Greenville and John Zanto of Shelbyville; two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Ann) Cross 
of Portland and Mrs. John (Agnes) Dekkinga of Grand Rapids; three 
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at SS. Peter and Paul Church.  
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.  Scriptural rosary services will be 8 
p.m. Tuesday at Myers-Roetman Funeral Home, Ionia.  The family will be at the 
funeral home tonight from 7-9, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Memorials for 
SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society have been 
established.
