Mrs. Abigail Coulson, died at her home in Berlin township, at 6:30 Sunday 
evening, November 21, after two weeks illness.

Abigail Baird, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Baird, was born March 20, 1863.  
She was married to John Coulson April 1, 1888.  Mr. Coulson died July 13, 
1946.  Mrs. Coulson had lived in Berlin township for sixty-five years and in 
her late home for the past 53 years.  

She is survived by nine sons and daughters.  They are: Fred, Hugh, Mrs. Martha 
Witzel, Mrs. Esther Tuttle, and Mrs. Hazel Coulson, all of Ionia; Mrs. Agnes 
Fox of Lansing, Leo, Margaret and John at home.

A member of SS. Peter and Paul Church, Ionia, her funeral was held there 
Wednesday morning and burial was in Letts cemetery, near her late home.  
Bearers were six grandsons, Lewis, LaVerne and Robert Coulson, Franklin 
Tuttle, Eugene Fox and Donald Hamp.
