Mrs. Coulter was arrested last Monday by Sheriff Toan, and taken to Ionia. She will be defended by Morse, Trowbridge & Co. We understand the examination will be commenced in Sebewa, before Esquire Garlock next Saturday. Strong effort are being made to have the said examination in this village, with what success, at this writing, we are unable to state. Public feeling is against Mrs. Coulter in Danby and Sebewa, and taking everything in consideration we think it would be advisable to have it changed to Portland. Some persons are advocating the theory that Mr. Coulter committed suicide, taking the arsenic himself.
