MERLE E COUNT
CLARKSVILLE-Merle E. Count, 79, of Route 1, Bell Road, Clarksville, died Wednesday
at his 
residence.

He was born May 21, 1908 in Yankee Springs, the son of Bert and Mary (Gruber)
Count.

He married Agnes Foot on Sept 19, 1928.

They had farmed in the Delton area before moving to Clarksville in 1943. They lived
on 
Peddler Lake farm for 44 years.

Surviving are his wife, Agnes; one son, Richard of Middleville; three daughters,
Jean Cook 
of Fenwick, Janet Erb of Freeport, and Judy Count of Clarksville, 15 grandchildren;
23 
great-grandchildren.

One son, Lyle and one brother, Robert, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the  Wesleyan Church in
Clarksville, 
The Rev. Ed Schrock officiating.

Burial will be in Clarksville Cemetery.

The family will be at the Koop Funeral Home in Clarksville today from 2 to 4 p.m and
from 7 
to 9 p.m.
