                                Charles L.Courser

After a lengthy illness, Charles L.Courser passed away into eternity to join his 
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 12, 2010. He was born May 30, 1929 in 
Ionia, the son of Olen and Margaret (Ingraham) Courser. Charles married Velma 
E.Beach July 3, 1948.

He attended First Assembly of God Church. Charles was a member of American 
Coalition of Amputees. He was an avid trout fisherman, loved camping with his 
family and cameras.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Velma Courser of Ionia; son 
Robert (Sharon) Courser of Florida, daughter carol (Austin) Parkin of St.Johns; 
grandchildren, Patrick Courser, Robert P.Courser, Conan hunter, Eli Parkin, 
Casey Mencini, Terre Yeiter, and Paul Parkin; great-grandchildren Kaitlyn 
Mencini, Alex Mencini, Nolan Mencini, Landyn Parkin, Makyah, Joshua Yeiter and 
Brooke Yeiter; and brother-in-law Ronald (Dorothy)Beach of Ionia.

He was preceded in death by his parents three brothers, Edwin, Elmer and Arnold; 
one sister Esther; and one infant son Baby Michael.

Funeral services will be held 4:30 pm. Thursday at First Assembly of God Church 
with Pastor Mark Gerdes officiating.Interment Balcom Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends and relatives 3 to 4:30 pm.,prior to the service at the church.
