  Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

      CHESTER M. COURSER

Died Thursday, October 16, 1980-age 88, Hobe Sound Hospital, Stuart Fla.
Born September 22, 1892 in Carson City.
Lifetime resident of the Grand Rapids area.
Retired Mechanical Engineer & Life member of Doric Lodge #342, Grand Rapids.
Surviving are his wife, Vernice (Allen) Courser; a son Charles M.Courser, 
Belding; four step-daughters; a brother,Harold, Hobe Sound,Fla.; two 
grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wed. at Charles M.Courser Funeral Home, Belding.
Rev. Kendall C.Downing of Belding First Congregational Church officiating.
Interment will be in Clear Lake Cemetery, Fenwick.
Visitation tonight 7 to 8:30 & Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. & 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the 
funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
