Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Jan 1944

Mrs. Sarah Courter, 59, died Wednesday afternoon in Ionia County Memorial
hospital, where she had been taken Tuesday while suffering a heart ailment.

Funeral services will be held at the Morris funeral home at Saranac Friday at 2
o’clock, with interment to be made in Saranac cemetery.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Courter, and four sisters.  With her husband
she had resided on a farm near Saranac the past 35 years.
