George Charles Courtney, age 82, of Lansing, retired Fisher Body employee, died
Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2015.  There will be no services.   

He spent his growing up years in the Sunfield, Woodland and Lake Odessa areas. 
He graduated from Sunfield High School in 1951.  He joined the Marines for four
years.  He worked at Fisher Body in Lansing for 30 years.

George loved to fish and spent a lot of time on Lake Erie and Lake Michigan and
many area lakes with his son Charles and other friends.

George is survived by his wife, Dorothy and son, Charles and daughter-in-law
Karen of Wixom; one brother, Warren and wife, Marilyn of Lake Odessa.
