Judith Ann Courtney, aged 60, of Lake, Mich., passed away in Lake. She was 
born July 20, 1945 in Ionia the daughter of William D. Erridge and Sunshine A. 
Simon.  Judith married David Courtney November 22, 1963 in Lyons, MI. She was 
a member of Lyons-Muir Church and of D.A.V.A.

Judith is survived by her loving husband David A. Courtney; mother, Sunshine 
A. Simon of Ionia; children, David W. Courtney and friend Rebbeka of Eaton 
Rapids, Dana and David of Portland, Jamie Lynn and Steve Sedore of Grand 
Ledge, Jennifer Jo Hughes of Ionia, Scott Lee Courtney of Portland; brother, 
William and MaryAnn Erridge of Trufant; sisters, Sandra and Roger Trirwieler 
of Trufant, Kathy and Clyde Stewart of Muir, Pamela Jo Fisher of Lyons, Debra 
and Dennis Perry of Trufant; step brother, Raymond Bugbee of Portland; mother 
in law, Marion Courtney of Ionia; grandchildren, James and Christin Courtney, 
Timmy Hosford, Corey and Kody Shattuck, Emily Hughes, Isaiah Hosley, Evette, 
Tyler and Samantha Sedore; aunts and uncle, Ruth and Elwyn Cotton of Ionia, 
Margaret Jones of Ionia and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father William D. Eridge; step mother Evelyn 
L. Erridge, step father Leonard Simon and father in law Harold Courtney.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2006 at Lyons Muir 
Church with Rev. Burt Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives Monday 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Anyone wishing 
may make a memorial contribution to Mid Michigan Hospice.
